The adventure begins ( I just quit my Job )

I have read a number of Travel Blogs recently.  Many of them begin, with the author stating that it all started with quitting a job.

Today I quit my job.  A good job.  I was well paid, enjoyed what I did, and liked the people I worked with.  But it was time.  Time to get out from behind the desk.  Time to explore more of the world.  Time to get to know my myself better and figure out what I want next.

This marks the starting line of a summer of adventure.  But by no means is the very beginning.  I have been planning and working toward today for the last year.  The time has come for me to close one chapter in life and begin another.

ON June 1st I will be leaving Southern California for this summers Adventure of a life time.  I will head to Hood River for a while, Whistler, BC, Bozeman, MT, Boise, ID, Rossland, BC, and then across Canada with the ultimate goal of arriving in Newfoundland in early August.  I have many locations that I would like to see, but the number one goal is to make the most of this time.  Savor each place, and see new parts of the world.
